CEO
Wojciech Czernek
Wojciech Czernek has been the CEO of the Foreign Trade Enterprise "Baltona" S.A. since February 2021.
Before joining the Foreign Trade Enterprise "Baltona" S.A., he worked as Managing Director – CEO at TOYS"R"US Poland Sp. z o.o., where he was responsible for introducing the retail chain to the Polish market. His greatest achievement in this company was reaching and exceeding the break-even point, maintaining the company's financial liquidity, and averting the grounds for bankruptcy following the bankruptcy of the parent company, Toys "R" Us Inc.
In the years 2009-2011, he served as Managing Director at REWE Int. – BILLA Ukraine (previously, from 2006, as COO, Member of the Management Board at REWE Group – BILLA Poland Sp. z o.o.), where he successfully improved the organization and the company's relations with control authorities and public administration, accelerated the chain's expansion, and improved central logistics operations, which resulted in improved margins, sales growth, and a reduction in shrinkage.
Wojciech Czernek also worked for companies such as Ahold Poland (2005-2006) and NOMI S.A. (2004-2005). He began his journey in the retail industry in 1994 at Makro Cash and Carry Poland S.A. (Metro AG Group), where he started as Goods Receiving Department Manager and, after multiple promotions, left the structures in 2003 as Deputy Operations Director.
In 2014, Wojciech Czernek completed his Executive MBA studies at the French Institute of Management in Warsaw.

Tomasz Marczak
Tomasz Marczak has been a Member of the Management Board of the Foreign Trade Enterprise "Baltona" S.A. since June 2025.
A strategic financial and operational leader who leverages his expertise in finance, strategy, and business transformation to achieve operational efficiency, maximize profitability, and support organizational growth.
Tomasz has international experience in sales support and daily financial and operational supervision of companies operating in the areas of retail, wholesale, concession retail, travel retail, and e-commerce. He has worked for Dotdash Meredith Inc., Ralph Lauren Corporation, Mastercard Inc., and Avon Products Inc.
His greatest achievements include: simplifying processes to centralize planning, analysis, and accounting functions, building shared services centers, providing financial and analytical support for global business transformations, improving the quality of reporting to support decision-making processes, building effective margin management models, preparing product category profitability analyses along with implementing a process of filtering only profitable offers, and introducing innovative ideas for business development in the virtual world and e-commerce.
Tomasz is a graduate of Accounting and Finance at the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw.
